Ripple Design Team

Associate, Ripple Design Studio

Jeffrey Almeter joined the design team at Ripple Design Studio in early 2014 and quickly earned his reputation as our technical expert. Prior to joining Ripple Design Studio, Jeff worked at Cutler Anderson Architects on Bainbridge Island, where he focused on contemporary architectural design. He spent his early professional years in Colorado at a small firm specializing in residential design before moving to Seattle with his wife to be close to the water, mountains, and green of the Pacific Northwest. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Syracuse University, and is a licensed architect in Washington state. He enjoys the entire design and construction process, whether it’s working on his own home or building Lego masterpieces with his two children.

Associate, Ripple Design Studio

B. Kelly McShane’s design principles are shaped by her love of art and fashion, sustainable practices, and architecture that is responsive to the surrounding environment. Kelly joined Ripple Design Studio in 2011, bringing a passion for traditional home design and interiors. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Speech at the University of Washington, and went on to earn her Master of Architecture degree in 2010 at Boston Architectural College while working concurrently for two architectural firms focusing on residential and healthcare design. For Kelly, moving back to Seattle with her husband meant finding a home on the same street in the Wedgwood neighborhood where she attended elementary school.  In addition to architecture, baking and spending time outdoors, she has another true love: being a mom to her two young daughters.

Office Manager, Ripple Design Studio

Lori Payne joined the Ripple Team in 2015 and brings over 16 years of managerial and accounting experience.  Lori facilitates the bookkeeping operations of the firm and wears many hats to keep the office running efficiently.  Having gone through two home remodels herself, Lori’s love for great design transitions well into the industry. She and her family are thrilled to be back in Seattle after spending a year abroad and a stint in Eastern Washington.   *picture coming soon
