For this traditional gem, the densely wooded property offered a gorgeous locale, but created a dark and moody interior. Ripple Design Studio focused on bringing more natural light into the home, without compromising the original architectural intent. In the main living areas, we increased the window space and introduced a series of French doors with transoms. White walls, cabinetry, and trim optimize the airy effect—balanced with cozy furnishings and warm brass accents. Multiple outdoor gathering spaces, including a covered terrace and new deck, provide a front-row view of Mother Nature.
